Well...
I'm a nanny now. 3 days/week at about 10 hrs/day. Love making some steady income. Our piggy banks will get bigger as we wait to find THE house. Right now, we are looking at fixer-uppers.. you know...the ones not many buyers are lookin' at? They just look like a fun project to me; I can always envision its potential :) And YOU KNOW I love projects. It's that, or we look outside of Folsom, but... its our top location. Patience is key!
What else...
3 weeks of school left. Then I'm out for the summer. Can't work and simultaneously take a highly concentrated physiology class summer term... Let's hope I'll want to come back when it's time to sign up for the Fall semester :)
What else...
Still playing soccer. Still karate... sorta. I go through waves of determination and drive, and then lack of motivation. Just a sign I've been in it too long. I just can't get myself to commit to it the time it requires when I have other... priorities.
What else...
I am now charging for photography. If people come my way, great. If not, thats cool too. I have plenty to keep me busy and I can always find guinea pigs to keep me going :) The more sessions I do, the more I realize how much time and energy is spent, not only during the photoshoot, but before and after it as well! Many hours just sifting through photos and editing alone. I love it nonetheless.
What else...
Giants game tomorrow! I put some tix in Max's Christmas stocking for this season. So happy that these two rainy days are behind us and we'll get some beautiful sun in San Francisco that evening! Gotta love a good baseball game with the hottest hottie in the stadium!

I like staying busy
Had a fun session this morning. A cute flower girl and her handsome brother, the ring bearer!
Kids this age are so funny-- they were grunting about holding hands or hugging each other. Silly siblings... But don't they look so precious when they ARE hugging? Or holding hands? See exhibit A below:

I can take pictures.
Yesterday I was able to take the Edward's family photos. Even though they are practically family, I was still anxious. I felt humbled during this experience and it opened my eyes to this industry. I still have much to learn and I know with time I can only get better! I'm grateful I've gotten some takers for my free sessions. I need them! Send your kids my way! I'll take their photos :) ahem..Erin...ahem.
